The Chicago Bulls are looking for a new alternate jersey to replace the infamous “Chicago” jersey, which has been retired.

Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls does not seem to be distancing himself from the team or the city anytime soon.
Indeed, after seeing himself in a prototype of a new Chicago White Sox-themed Bulls uniform, LaVine went to Twitter to request that the concept art be turned into reality.
That is a fantastic uniform idea, I must say. Is it unthinkable? Given that Jerry Reinsdorf has a controlling stake in both the Bulls and the White Sox, it’s unlikely.
However, a deal with Major League Baseball may be required. In any event, Bulls supporters would nearly as much want to see the jersey come to life as they would like to know if LaVine would be wearing it beyond this season.
The Boston Celtics may be interested in LaVine.
With LaVine’s growing popularity and Olympic gold medal status, his upcoming free agency has sparked speculation about a possible departure from Chicago.
If LaVine hasn’t signed an extension with Chicago, the Boston Celtics will be interested in signing him this summer, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.
According to Washburn,
Zach LaVine of Chicago, who is in the last year of his deal, may be a free agency target for the Celtics. Before a contract extension, he’ll have to show he can lead the Bulls to the playoffs. LaVine recently switched agents and signed with Klutch Sports, which is typical of players looking to maximize their free agency prospects. LaVine, who recently helped Team USA win a gold medal at the Olympics, will want a maximum deal on the free market. LaVine’s worth may have increased as a result of his Olympic experience, as he was expected to play three-and-D, igniting the Americans with his full-court defense and ability to run the floor. If Bradley Beal chooses to remain in Washington, LaVine may be the Celtics’ top target. The Bulls, who bolstered their roster with DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball in the summer, are determined to be a force in the Eastern Conference.
Fans of the Chicago Bulls are virtually unanimous in their opposition to this notion.
The Bulls’ New Core Isn’t a Problem for LaVine
There are doubts about whether LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Williams, and Lonzo Ball, the team’s new core, can be successful this season.
LaVine, on the other hand, isn’t buying into the worries. He talked with Sean Deveney of Heavy, who questioned LaVine whether he understood the fit questions. According to LaVine:
That doesn’t make sense to me because, at the end of the day, we’re some of the best basketball players in the world, and we know how to make things work. It is our responsibility to get out and get to know each other, both personally and as basketball players. It’s simple to make things work on the basketball floor if everyone has the same goal in mind, which is to win. I don’t believe anybody on our squad is self-centered. If that is the norm moving ahead, we’ll figure it out because we’re too excellent of basketball players, we work too hard, and we care too much about the game for it not to.
