Tiger Woods has played golf for more than 20 years, and during that time he has won 14 major tournaments, including six Masters. He is one of the most dominant players in history, but this week Tiger decided to try his hand at a new game: 18 holes on the European Tour.

Tiger Woods is a professional golfer who has won 14 major championships. In 1999, Tiger Woods played 18 rounds in one year.

Tiger Woods, the five-time Masters winner, played 18 holes at Augusta National Golf Club on Tuesday, according to ESPN. Woods is still recovering from major leg and foot injuries sustained in a vehicle accident 14 months ago.

According to insiders, Woods, 46, played full 18 holes with his son Charlie and PGA Tour golfer Justin Thomas, a close buddy.

According to ESPN, “he played every one of them.” “He seemed like a nice guy to me.”

Woods and his staff landed on his Gulfstream private jet at Augusta Regional Airport on Tuesday morning, generating excitement on social media that he was set to play in the Masters. Augusta National is regarded as one of the most challenging walks in professional golf because to its many hills and length.

Access Each year, the PGA TOUR broadcasts 4,300+ hours of live coverage from 35 tournaments, including four days of coverage at 28 events with four streams each day. You’ll also get access to replays, originals, and more. ESPN+ has a live stream available.

A since-deleted video showing Woods playing at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, surfaced this past weekend.

Woods is one among the 91 players slated to compete in next week’s Masters, the season’s first major competition. However, he has yet to confirm whether or not he would participate.

Because to COVID-19, Woods, a 15-time major winner, hasn’t competed in a normal PGA Tour event since the 2020 Masters, which was held in November of that year.

This isn’t the first time Woods has tried a comeback at Augusta National after a lengthy absence. Woods won the 2019 Masters, his first major tournament in 11 years, after several knee and back operations.

In a vehicle accident on Feb. 23, 2021, Woods received major injuries to his right leg and right foot. On a downhill stretch in Rolling Hills Estates, just outside of Los Angeles, his SUV crossed two oncoming lanes, slammed a curb, and destroyed a tree. He was wearing a seatbelt and was still seated in the SUV when cops arrived.

Woods was transferred by ambulance to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. In his right leg, he suffered open fractures in the top and lower parts of the tibia and fibula. In late November, he informed reporters at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas that surgeons were on the verge of amputating his right leg.

“It’s changed,” Woods said. “To put it another way, my right leg does not resemble my left leg.”

Woods stated he has been concentrating on chipping, putting, and short irons in his recovery during a press conference before the Genesis in mid-February. He said that he hadn’t done much training with long irons and fairway woods because they demanded too much of his surgically repaired right leg.

On Feb. 16, Woods remarked, “I wish I could tell you when I’m playing again.” “I’m curious, but I don’t know.” My golf participation has been really restricted. I can chip and putt extremely well, and I can hit short irons really well, but I haven’t done any major long iron work. I’m still at work.

“The walking component is still a work in progress for me. My foot was screwed up there about a year ago, so I’m still working on the walking portion, working on strength and growth in that area. It will take some time. What irritates me is that it isn’t on my schedule. I’d want to be somewhere specific, but I’m not. All I have to do now is keep working. Yes, I’m getting better. But, as I have said, not at the pace and rate that I would want. You also have to consider the age element. It’s simply that you don’t recover as quickly as you used to, which is aggravating.”

Woods and Charlie competed in the unofficial PNC Championship in December. He was permitted to utilize a golf cart during the 36-hole round, although he did some walking as well.
