From the upcoming 2019-2020 season, “The Hockey Forecaster” is a free hockey fantasy game where you can predict scores for weeknight games and compare your predictions to other users’ picks. With this app, I have had plenty of practice in predicting game outcomes as well as making educated guesses on players who will be over/undervalued by their stats from last year.

The “fantasy hockey forecaster espn” is a tool that provides daily fantasy hockey predictions for the upcoming day. The tool also includes information on the players, such as their stats and how they are performing in real life.

We’ll be two weeks over the trade deadline on Monday, so we’ll have a few games from the moving components to examine more.

1617223581_324_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

Florida Panthers’ Claude Giroux (C/W): I’ll qualify that by saying the Panthers don’t have any incorrect answers these days when it comes to how to deploy their top three lines. Giroux, on the other hand, played a few games with Aleksander Barkov and Carter Verhaeghe before being switched to Jonathan Huberdeau. But, for the record, the line with Barkov was quite dominating – in a very tiny sample, mind you. According to MoneyPuck.com, the Giroux-Barkov-Verhaeghe combination had played 32 minutes of five-on-five together. Despite the small sample size, the trio’s Corsi for % and raw shot attempts per 60 minutes are the best in the NHL this season among any three that has played at least 30 minutes together. Fantasy owners will be hoping that Giroux rejoins Barkov as soon as possible.

Pittsburgh Penguins’ Rickard Rakell (W): Rakell has spent the last three games on the wing with Evgeni Malkin after spending his first three games with the Penguins on the third line with Jeff Carter. The Pens’ 11-goal performance against the Red Wings is an example of this. Alongside Jason Zucker’s recent comeback and re-injury, the precise line combination moving forward is a bit difficult to anticipate. Zucker served as the third member of the line with Malkin and Rakell during his one game back. But, in the end, Rakell seems to be fitting in with Malkin, and he appears to be as great a fantasy option as expected on deadline day. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to get any time with the top power-play unit, since Bryan Rust has firmly established himself as the fourth forward.

1617223584_365_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

Mark Giordano, Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman: You may not be very enthusiastic about his one goal and one assist with the Leafs. However, Giordano’s fantasy value has skyrocketed at his new home. Giordano has churned out 2.5 fantasy points per game (FPPG) in his five appearances with Toronto, thanks to some solid peripheral numbers (shots, hits, blocked shots). It’s unrealistic to expect him to keep up the speed per minute. If the sample size were meaningful (which it isn’t), his 7.31 fantasy points per 60 minutes (FPP60) as a Maple Leaf would be the best in the NHL; Roman Josi leads all defenseman with 7.19 FPP60. Still, that means he may reduce his performance while being among the fantasy elite.

April 4 to April 10 (Fantasy Forecaster)

Because the fantasy football head-to-head playoffs are likely to begin this week, I’ll remind you of two things: When you pick your lineup, consider your matchups, because there’s a strong possibility this matchup will last two weeks for you.

Before you make any judgments, go through your opponent’s season data. You can check each team’s season-long statistics on the standings page of your ESPN league. Examine where your opponent is particularly strong and weak, and then attack or capitulate in those areas to offer yourself the greatest opportunity of progressing.

You can start doing a little amount of this in rotisserie leagues as well. On a bigger scale, it’s much more difficult, but there’s a possibility you may seek for certain categories to attempt to get some additional points in the rankings. If you have large gaps above and below you in a category and don’t think you’ll be able to move up or down, you might try a another category to obtain an additional point. Just be cautious, since if others find out what you’re doing, they could attempt to take advantage of you.

In point leagues, though, keep the course. It makes no difference whatever category you get points in as long as you keep collecting them.

You can fade a handful of two-game teams this week. For a two-game week with 12 teams playing four games, the Chicago Blackhawks and Vegas Golden Knights definitely don’t have many must-starts in their lineups. Patrick Kane, Seth Jones, Alex DeBrincat, Alex Pietrangelo, and Jack Eichel may be the starting lineup. It’s sad that the Knights’ return of Alec Martinez isn’t possible this week due to the schedule, but keep in mind that he’ll be back when it’s time to establish next week’s roster.

Notes from the group

1617223590_234_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

St. Louis Blues: With the Kraken and Coyotes among the clubs on the Blues’ four-game schedule, you can stock up on offensive. This includes Robert Thomas, who has averaged 2.0 points per game over the last 11 games. With Torey Krug out, I still believe Nick Leddy can thrive on this schedule.

1617223584_365_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

Toronto Maple Leafs: Given the Leafs’ top-heavy roster, there aren’t many spots to target for fantasy hockey purposes. But, at some time during this four-game week, Jack Campbell should be back to full strength. I’d also want to float the possibility that Timothy Liljegren seems to be heading in the direction of fantasy. You won’t be able to take advantage of it next week, or even this season, but have a look at his recent numbers: In March, he scored a goal and added seven assists in only 15:45 of ice time. Despite his limited playing time, his five-on-five Corsi for the month is the 13th best in the NHL among defenseman. But, with Jake Muzzin on the way back, I don’t believe Liljegren’s hot streak will last much longer.

1617223576_765_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

Carolina Hurricanes: In their most recent game, the Hurricanes handed Max Domi a chance with Vincent Trocheck and Andrei Svechnikov. In ten minutes of five-on-five play, they created 14 shot attempts while allowing just six. That’s enough for them to consider giving this line another go, particularly now that Jesperi Kotkaniemi is no longer in the lineup. Two games versus the Sabres are part of a four-game week for the Canes.

Notes from the players

1633363643_759_Why-the-Islanders-reign-supreme

Arizona Coyotes’ Clayton Keller (C/W): Keller’s season is over, in case you didn’t hear. This, I believe, significantly reduces the value we’ve been receiving from Nick Schmaltz recently. Despite this team’s overall scoring, Schmaltz has spent the most of his five-on-five minutes with Keller this season, and they’ve created a decent partnership, even maintaining a positive goals differential as a unit alongside Travis Boyd.

Fantasy hockey is a game that involves predicting the outcome of a game. It is played in leagues and typically has a salary cap. The “fantasy hockey forecaster” is an application that helps players make predictions for their league. Reference: fantasy hockey league.
