Omea is a sub-brand of 1More, which is one of the biggest brands in the headphone segment in the Indian market. While the sub-brand has gained recognition amongst the youth, it has not been able to gain the same kind of recognition in the budget smartphone segment. So, the company decided to launch three new products under the Omea brand to compete with some of the entry level smartphones in the market. The three products that were launched are the Airfree In-Ear Headphones, Omea Soundbuds, and Omea Dream XL.
1More has been one of the best earphones brands in India for some time now. They’ve been a part of the market for more than a decade and have grown to become one of the biggest players by both quantity and quality. One of their most popular earphones is the Airfree, which boasts of a whopping 16 hours of battery life.
It was recently reported that 1More, a global headphones brand from China, is planning to enter the Indian market with its sub brand Omthing. Omthing will be a completely local brand, and the brand’s first product will be three new earphones – the Airfree, Airplus and Airon.
1MORE, a worldwide audio corporation based in Shenzhen, has finally entered the Indian market through Omthing, one of its sub-brands (stands for One More Thing). Omthing AirFree Pods, AirFree TWS, and AirFree Lace Neckband are the company’s three new products for the Indian market. These three audio items each have their own distinct qualities and are all reasonably priced.
Specifications for the Omthing AirFree Lace Neckband
The AirFree Lace Neckband is a wireless Bluetooth headset with a solid metallic chamber that houses 10mm dynamic drivers. Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity is available, and the headsets are powered by a 160 mAh battery. The headsets now have a battery life of up to 12 hours on a single charge as a result of this. When it comes to charging time, the headsets can charge from 0 to 100% in about 2.5 hours. You get an inline remote with buttons for taking calls, adjusting volume, changing music, and enabling the voice assistant when it comes to controls. The headband is made of durable materials and has an IPX4 rating. The headbands, however, do not feel hefty because they only weigh 28.4 grams.
Specifications for Something AirFree TWS
The Omthing AirFree TWS Earbuds are the company’s second product, and they have 7mm drivers. The TWS has Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity, just like the Lace Neckband. One of the most notable aspects of the AirFree TWS is its ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) feature, which may filter out ambient noise for a more enjoyable experience. Although the capacity of the battery on the TWS is unknown, the business says that these Earbuds have a combined battery life of around 20 hours on a single charge. The Earbuds, on the other hand, take around an hour to fully charge, whereas the holding case takes about two hours. The AirFree Earbuds, unlike the Lace Neckband, lack physical buttons in favor of touch capabilities for controlling calls, music tracks, and enabling or silencing the ENC. The Earbuds are IPX4 rated and each bud weighs around 4 grams.
Specifications for Something AirFree Pods
The AirFree Pods are true-wireless earbuds with a different design from the AirFree TWS Earbuds. The AirFree Pods, unlike the AirFree TWS, are powered by 13mm composite titanium dynamic drivers, which should result in excellent sound quality. The existence of a Qualcomm cVc 8.0 chipset, which is used for the environmental noise cancellation feature, is one of the AirFree Pods’ standout characteristics. For the ENC, there are four microphones on these AirPods. The business claims that these AirPods have a total battery life of roughly 25 hours, and that charging time is about one hour for the AirPods and two hours for the case to go from 0 to 100. The case enables Qi wireless charging, which is one of its defining qualities. The AirFree Pods, like the other two products, are IPX4 certified and weigh around 4 grams apiece.
Pricing and Availability for Omthing AirFree Lace Neckband, AirFree TWS, and AirFree Pods
The AirFree Lace Neckband and the AirFree TWS Earbuds are both available in a single black color option and cost Rs. 1,499 and Rs. 2,499, respectively. The AirFree Pods are available in four colors: Reddish Orange, Forest Green, Snow White, and Midnight Black, with a price tag of Rs. 3,999.
